GRAND PRAIRIE, TX (January 14, 2025) – Early Monday morning, a tragic car accident claimed the lives of two drivers at the intersection of North Highway 161 and the westbound Interstate 30 service roads.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:00 AM when a westbound Nissan passenger car collided with a southbound Dodge pickup truck. Investigators from the Grand Prairie Police Department believe the driver of the Nissan ran a red light, causing the fatal collision.
Both drivers, Bryan Aguilar and Steven Watts, both 27, were pronounced dead at the scene. Thankfully, there were no passengers in either vehicle.
As of now, the accident remains under investigation, and further details will be released as they become available.
