Before joining Gosuits as California Managing Attorney and Principal, Shireen built a distinguished legal career rooted in both domestic and international experience. She previously led her own legal practice, focusing on complex business and real estate litigation, where she skillfully represented clients in a variety of civil and commercial matters, including arbitration. Her practice included advising on copyright infringement, real estate disputes, and intricate business transactions—earning a reputation for strategic thinking and results-driven advocacy.
Earlier in her career, Shireen served with the United Nations Refugee Agency, where she worked on high-stakes strategic litigation before regional human rights courts in Europe and the Americas. She also adjudicated refugee claims in the Caribbean and played a pivotal role in improving asylum procedures and enhancing access to vital social and economic rights for displaced populations.
Shireen’s legal foundation was shaped at internationally recognized law firms, where she worked on complex securities and employment litigation.
