Mrs. Moussavi is an attorney admitted in the States Bars of Texas, New York and South Australia. She is also admitted to practice law in Iran. Mrs. Moussavi joined Chalaki Law to handle the law firm’s compliance matters for state and federal cases in 2017. Mrs. Moussavi has experience with practice in both Common Law and Civil Law systems.

ABOUT YASAMIN MOUSSAVI:

Mrs. Moussavi is an attorney admitted in the States Bars of Texas, New York and South Australia. She is also admitted to practice law in Iran. Mrs. Moussavi joined Chalaki Law to handle the law firm’s compliance matters for state and federal cases in 2017. Mrs. Moussavi has experience with practice in both Common Law and Civil Law systems. She completed her Bachelor and Masters degree in Iran and wrote a thesis on Confidentiality in International Commercial Arbitration. She specialized in real estate matters in Iran. Upon moving to Australia she completed a Bachelor of Laws and Legal practice degree with Honors and was admitted to the Bar. In Australia, she mainly worked for nonprofits with the aim to promote access to justice. After moving to Texas, Mrs. Moussavi started her US career at Chalaki Law in 2017, assisting with personal injury cases. At Hashemi Law, PLLC, she was involved in construction accidents, construction defects, commercial contracts and business disputes, and a large number of transactional matters. She also handled a number of federal cases. She rejoined Chalaki Law in 2019. Mrs. Moussavi’s practice in Texas is mostly focused on civil litigation.

PERSONAL:

Mrs. Moussavi is a proud mom and wife, who enjoys spending time with her family the most. She was born and raised in Iran and moved to Australia in 2009. She lived in the beautiful Adelaide surrounded by the world-famous wineries and the southern ocean for seven years. In 2016, she moved to DFW and has called Texas home since.
