Fatal Single-Car Crash in Fresno County Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

A tragic single-vehicle collision in Fresno County early Wednesday morning has left one person dead and two others hospitalized. The crash occurred on Auberry Road near Beal Fire Road at approximately 1:30 AM on August 13, 2025, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Incident Details

According to CHP reports, three individuals in their 20s were traveling in a Toyota when the driver lost control while navigating a curve on Auberry Road. The vehicle reportedly was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck a tree. The impact caused the tree to fall across Auberry Road, further complicating the scene.

The driver of the vehicle immediately contacted 911 for assistance. Emergency responders arrived to find one passenger had succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The driver and the remaining passenger were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. The extent of their injuries has not been released.
